I have an inherent interest in what people are thinking and how they write about it. Excepting the photographic emphasis, there is essentially nothing new here. Where duChemin distinguishes himself is the genuine conversation he has with the reader…a most enjoyable biographical sketch. Especially helpful for those who purchased a new DSLR with a fuzzy dream of quitting their day job.

A book that explains the voyage into a vocational photographers career in a way that I’ve never seen before. This book is excellent and does not sugar coat your fantasies. Well done Davd Duchemin, another excellent read.

David duChemin’s VISIONMONGERS: MAKING A LIFE AND A LIVING IN PHOTOGRAPHY is for any who want to make the move into vocational photography, discussing where to begin, lessons photographer David duChemin learned, and sharing ideas and inspiration to help readers create their own path to prosperity. Unlike books that provide a ‘one step for all’ program, VISIONMONGERS encourages readers to develop their own unique vision and style.

I have just finished reading this book and I am amazed at all the information you go through. It is the perfect book for whomever

want to get serious about photography and start a business. The book covers a variety of topics and emphasizes on everything you will

have to consider on your to do list one step at a time. It shares practical advice as well as what set of mind you’ll have to show.

It also gives you useful resources to add to your list. Exhaustive information, lots of details, useful tips and very clear presentation.

    Love it!

This book was totally inspiring in so many ways. It handles the why not the how. All to often we forget that the why is as important if not more important than the how.
