if photoshoping a post-natel image of the baby onto the pregnant belly or draping coloured gauze on any breast in sight is your definition of art then this book will be just what you are after, if not look else where.

This was purchased for reference and ideas. As a professional photographer, I have done pregnancy sessions. They can be very special. It is obvious that the images in this book were created by a professional photographer. Unfortunately, there is something missing in many (not all) of the images. This is a joyous time for a woman and family. Many of the facial expressions on these subjects are not flattering. The colors and lighting utilized further give many of the images a heavy, somber tone. Monte Zucker’s portrait book was purchased at the same time as this product. Monte’s lighting, posing, and interplay with his subjects always produced wonderful images. I would recommend his book, and some imagination with your pregnant subject, in place of this book.

JENNIFER GEORGE DISPLAYS NOT ONLY TECHNICAL EXPERTISE BUT A SENSITIVITY NEEDED TO CAPTURE THIS MOST PRECIOUS TIME IN A WOMAN AND FAMILY’S LIFE.
SHE NOT ONLY GIVES THE CLIENT A LASTING MEMORIAL TO THIS MOST IMPORTANT TIME IN HER/THEIR LIVES BUT SHE DOES SO WITH ARTISTIC PANANCHE AND SKILL THAT MAKES VIEWING HER WORK A JOY FOR EVERYONE,– RELATED TO THE INCIDENT OR NOT.
I ESPECIALLY LIKED HER FOCUS ON MARKETING IDEAS AND BRANDING METHODS. NO MATTER HOW EXCELLENT A PHOTOGRAPHER IS, THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW OF THEM TO APPRRECIATE AND AVAIL THEMSELVES OF THE PHOTOGRAPHER’S ART.

When I got this book, I couldn’t put it down. This author had so many incredible images, I only hoped to become as good as her. Jennifer explains to you in detail how to photograph & pose pregnant women and how to be very personable with them and make them feel not only comfortable but beautiful with their bodies.. I love the book and would recommend it to anyone interested in this type of photography..
