This book was helpful but there are better books out there. It’s good and helpful, I’ve just found better.

Enfocado en enseñar al usuario de una dSLR a tomar excelentes fotos SIN edición posterior, este es uno de los libros más completos que he visto para sacar lo máximo de nuestra cámara digital.

It’s okay. But aside from the history and the mechanics of photography, you might learn most of this just from reading the manual of your SLR. If you already have a good grasp on photography, and you think somehow this is going to give you a professional edge, or some fancy tips, you’re mistaken. Just go out and take pictures and have fun :) That’s the best way to become a pro ;)

This book is very informative for an amateur. Too much detail on the technical workings of the camera. I would like to have seen more examples of composition, depth of field ,etc but I don’t think it was designed to be that type of book. It is a great reference tool when trying to understand the components that make of a slr camera.

This book is targetted at someone who is used to a film SLR, was disappointed with point-and-shoot digital cameras and has stumped up for a DSLR. It fills this niche well.
