I'm sure I'll read it another ten times and practice most of it. It is truly the BEST wedding photography book I own. Basically, if you are thinking of shooting weddings - GET THIS BOOK. If you just started shooting weddings - GET THIS BOOK. If you've been shooting weddings for several years - GET THIS BOOK. If you are not a wedding photographer then this book will show you how to "get it right" when it comes to low light or flash photogaphy. It is great for those who want to shoot indoors without that "flashy" look. I went to David Ziser's New Dawn seminar and this book just fortified what I learned at his workshop. It's enjoyable to read and easy to understand. David gives you the info you need without leaving you to figure half the technique like some writers.I am so glad I got this book and it also is a great reference for those hard to light situations. Notice I said will, not might. David is a great photographer and has a lifetime of experience. He's put every possible situation into this book. If you've ever shot a wedding, you know what unpredictable events they can be. Reading this book will give you a firm foundation on how to handle all of the basic and complicated scenarios you are likely to encounter. Remember though, it gives you a foundation to be a good wedding photographer. You need to practice, review your work, and practice some more in order to get better. No book can replace that path. Photographing a wedding is like driving a formula one race car, you don't have much time to think, you need to know what to do, this book tells you what to do, it's still up to you to do it.
